The Braemble is a brand born with heritage and pedigree – the sublime offspring of Mike Aikman, Jason Scott and Craig Harper, industry experts and wayward geniuses behind some of the world’s best bars. The concept was simple, to make the finest Bramble Liqueur possible.
Mike Aikman
Over a decade ago, Aikman co-founded one of the world’s best cocktail bars - Bramble Edinburgh. Its alumni have gone on to make their mark throughout the world. Aikman’s passion for developing the hospitality industry and creating bespoke liquids sees him jointly run Mothership, a Scottish drinks marketing, training and consultancy business.
Jason Scott
Along with Aikman, Scott co-founded Mothership in 2004 and Bramble Bar in 2006 having joined the hospitality industry to put his natural creative flair for mixology to use. Now, with three bars and numerous products under his belt, Scott has left an impact both in Scotland, his home land of Australia and everywhere in between.
Craig Harper
Harper has been a vital part of the UK’s alcohol industr y for over a decade, driving its comeback since the early 2000’s. Brought up by bar-owning parents, Harper has an innate understanding of bar culture and how brands operate within the space. It’s been said that what he doesn’t know about gin isn’t worth knowing.
